Maha Bodhi School was established in 1949 by the Singapore Buddhist Federation. Initially, the school operated as a small village school providing education grounded in Buddhist values and principles. Over the decades, it has grown into a full-fledged primary school, moving to its current premises in Ubi in 1982 to better accommodate its expanding student population and to provide state-of-the-art facilities.
Throughout its history, Maha Bodhi School has remained steadfast in its mission to provide a quality education that balances academic rigor with moral and spiritual development. The school’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals is evident in its comprehensive curriculum and rich co-curricular offerings.
